While growing medical cannabis in his home state of Michigan in 2005, Skunkmasterflex was always on the hunt for the killer OG Kush like he found in Venice Beach CA. He soon realized that there was not a solid representation of OG Kush in seed form.

One of his favorite strains was Larry OG, so he set out to make the best possible Larry OG he could in seed form. Using the Lemon Larry from Elite Genetics to outcross, he crossed it to the Larry OG then continued to back cross it using a male chosen from hundreds of plants. The Skunkhouse Larry OG lines have become a fan favorite and been used in lots of incredible breeding around the world.

In 2016 Skunkmasterflex asked his longtime friend and fellow cannabis enthusiast Respect from California Seedbank to join the team and to effectively start the Skunkhouse Brand.
