Genetics & Origins
Congo is an F1 hybrid that masterfully blends African and Pakistani genetics.
The backbone of this strain comes from two Congolese sativas—Bangi Congo and Congo #3—known for their euphoric, stimulating effects and exquisite flavors.
To balance the long flowering time and tall structure, breeders incorporated Pakistan Chitral Kush (PCK), a hardy indica that enhances resistance to cold, pests, and humidity.
The PCK influence also introduces deep purple and magenta hues, especially in cooler temperatures, making Congo a visually striking strain with superior resilience.
